All I can give myself is time

I started working on this comic a couple of weeks ago, and posted three very scribbly black-and-white panels of it on Instagram. You might have seen them:

Sometimes I think that it doesn't really matter if anyone sees the finished comic. You could argue that it has already done its job: writing it helped me articulate a feeling that was sitting in my chest, releasing it, making it more managable.  

It comes so natural to me to want to share what I've worked out for myself with others. Maybe because I'm from a generation that's used to being able to share anything on the internet immediately - so self-indulgent! Maybe because it would be quite lonely to sit at my desk and make all these things just for myself. As with so many things, it's probably best not to think about it too much and just carry on.

So, anyway, let's get to the comic!
